thanks for your advice my situataion isn't great but not as bleak as i thought it was. On the link you gave it said their is a 50% chance of winning my appeal and that goes up to 70% if you have representation with you at the tribunal. It just looks like i'll have to endure a bit of financial hardship until the appeal. Thanks. i know now where i am with my situation and what i have to do. It deosn't feel that all is lost now. Once again. Thank you vey, very much. greatly appreciated.

My CPN phoned me on Monday night to say that the Incapacity benefit office got in touch with her to let her know they are reversing their decision to take me of the benefit. I won't completely relax until the confirmation letter comes in the post, which might hopefully happen today.

There were times over the last 2 weeks that i thought i was going to lose everything, but coming on this site and the information you and others gave helped me to stay hopefull. Without it i would have worried a lot more. once again thanks for everything and keep up the good work.

In appreciation to the information i received here and the helpfull effects it had on me, i intend to keep coming on here and hopefully like you i can help someone get through what i had to endure.

lots and lots of thanks and i hope you deservedly feel good.

A big massive ta!

you apply for esa.and dla you have medical with medical services who are employed by secatery of state.you then get a biased decision by medical services doctor.you then appeal that decision to go to tribunal to get a fair hearing which takes 6months for you to get your hearing,,then lo and behold me another doctor is sitting on the pannel at your appeal hearing who works for the secratary of state,he discounts your version and disallows your appeal saying he prefares the medical service report over your gps and hospital specialists reports.my advice to disabled people is vote against labour in the next election and purnel,,this shows how desperate and corrupt this govenment is by taking benefits of disabled people.they should throw away the keys with this labour govm and there corrupt expences mps who have just been granted legal aid .they got us in such a mess, now there taking it out of the disabled pockets.vote them out.thats only way.

ive been reading some of these stories, here tonite and iam so appalled at the treatment that the secratary of state, lets the medical services treat people with ilnesses that they have .i didnt realise that so many people had been treated like i had.ive read in sme articles tonite that people are awaiting appeals.well ive just lost an appeal at a tribunal so please dont build up your hopes of winning ,because the doctors on these appeal panels wont have it that these medical services write what they want in these medical reports, because they know the medical doctors on these appeal boards will believe them.always make sure u get a detailed report from your own g.p and anyone else like a cpn .these people from the medical services never turn up at your hearing and explain there reports.they just leave it to the appeal to sort out,and one doctor whom work for the secratary of state is not going to disbelive another is he who work for secratary of state.so be careful, its criminal act.

Had the whole process of appeals and tribunerals with incapacity benefit and i literally wasted my time ,because at the tribuneral they told me i was lying which made me quite ill after fighting them for a year and i would not recommend it as they had obviously made up there mind a year earlier wot a waste of time`!!!!!

I have now been on esa for a while and had a medical for that and surprise surpise i failed it and am now appealing against that god knows why cos i wont win

Hello.

I have been awarded DLA for an "indefinite time" about 3 years ago. I suffer from paranoid schizoprenia ( plus all the common prejudices concerning this diagnosis (e.g. I`m dangerous and may harm some one...)). I`m more or less reclusive, have a slight alcohol problem...Most of the services in my area ( East Lancs) have been reduced, stoped or "centralised". Mental health is a hidden problem, no bandages on ones head, no limp or obvious symtoms, so of cause we are a very easy target....I have seen a lot of people discharged by local mental health teams because they are underfunded and just don`t have the resorces though so far people have kept their benefits. But it seems that us people at the bottom are going to have to pay the price the rich ripping the country of. If I`m forced of benefits and onto job seekers god knows how I will cope, I know that I could not hold down a job...others I know are also worried....but we are just an easy targert.

Sounds like Disbility Discrimination to me!

They do not go as far as to say you are lying about your condition, instead they concentrate on the possibility that your condition may not worsen if you go back to work and there is little chance of others being affected by your condition in the workplace. The medical examination is very insensitive to the claimants condition and full of lies to backup their decisions.

Just sue for discrimination because its easier
